Welcome! I’m So Glad You’re Here
If you’re reading this, chances are you’re struggling with something that’s been weighing heavily on your mind. Maybe it’s obsessive thoughts that won’t let up, or maybe it’s compulsions you just can't stop or that relentless anxiety that seems to be always lurking in the background. I get it—it’s exhausting, overwhelming, and can feel like it’s taking over your life.
You might have tried to push those thoughts away or avoid the situations that make your anxiety spike. That’s a completely natural response—after all, who wouldn’t want to escape the things that make them feel uncomfortable or fearful? But as you might have already noticed, that strategy often doesn’t work. In fact, it can make things worse, leaving you feeling more trapped than ever.
Here’s the thing: the key to breaking free from the grip of OCD and anxiety isn’t about avoiding what scares you. Instead, it’s about moving toward those things, but with a purpose. This doesn’t mean diving headfirst into your fears with no plan—quite the opposite. It means taking brave, intentional steps toward the things that make you anxious, but only when those steps are aligned with your values and the kind of life you want to live.
I know that might sound scary, but it’s also incredibly empowering. It’s about reclaiming your life from OCD and anxiety, not by trying to get rid of them, but by learning to live alongside them in a way that doesn’t control you.
Imagine being able to do the things you care about, even when anxiety shows up. Imagine having the freedom to make choices based on what’s truly important to you, rather than what your fears dictate. This is the essence of the work I do—helping people to find that freedom, using evidence-based approaches like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy.
ERP is about facing your fears in a structured and supportive way, gradually reducing their power over you. It’s challenging, yes, but it’s also incredibly effective, and it can lead to profound changes in your life.
Together, we’ll work toward embracing the discomfort and uncertainty that comes with growth and change, so you can start living a life that’s more in line with who you really are.
I know how hard it can be to take that first step, but if you’re ready to start moving toward a life that feels more like your own, I’m here to help.
